With a heritage steeped in craftsmanship, Maine-based Quoddy proudly measures output in "dozens, not thousands." Every pair is constructed using the finest materials and time-tested methods for the ultimate in comfort.
Quoddy's Field Boot has a waterproof, injection-molded EVA shell; 20% lighter than conventional rubber compounds, more flexible, more comfortable, and a better insulator against chilly wet conditions. They added some signature Quoddy handsewn details, along with a grippy rubber sole that has a siping pattern to aid wet surface traction from Sperry.
The handmade upper uses only the finest Horween® leathers, lined with waterproof fabric to keep you drier. The lacquered eyelets are rust-proof, the beefy synthetic laces never get waterlogged, and they can be tied even while wearing gloves. Lastly, the luxurious leather-covered footbed delivers all day comfort.
